Alexandra Michaels is a certified therapeutic riding instructor who works with children and adults to help them develop a better knowledge and understanding of horses. She believes that everyone should have the opportunity to interact with horses. The equine relationship helps the student develop a sense of empathy and responsibility, leading to lasting relationships that build confidence and commitment.
Alex is a trained riding instructor through CHA (Certified Horseman Association) and horse trainer through Meredith Manor, an equestrian trade school. Having seen first- hand the positive changes in people's lives as a result of their relationship with horses, she continued her education into the field of Equine-Assisted Therapy at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding Center, a PATH certified premier training location (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship).
As a result of her vast amount of experience and training, Alex provides her clients with a well-rounded education. Alex teaches her students to be competent, safe riders and inspires them to appreciate and bond with their horses. Alex's teaching style encourages students to feel centered, calm, and in-control, all behaviors that they take into their daily life off the ranch.
